Concrete Sealing & Water Proofing

Concrete Waterproofing

Diamond Concrete is a revolutionary, patented product for repairing and protecting concrete, asphalt, wood, steel and other substrates from the effects of moisture, salt, chemicals and environmental contaminants.

The Diamond Concrete surface withstands the ravages of any kind of vehicular or pedestrian traffic, while remaining elastic enough to absorb the natural expansion and contraction of concrete or other substrates. Diamond Concrete is the first truly long-term solution for a number of significant structural maintenance problems.

Use Diamond Concrete for:

  • Parking & Garage Decks
  • Manufacturing Areas
  • Other Flooring Uses
  • Roof Decks
  • Basements
  • Locker Rooms
  • Diamond Concrete is comprised of 3 to 6 millimeter thick Classic Turf Waterproof Membrane (SBR Rubber).
  • Diamond Concrete is available in Roll or Tile form.
  • Diamond Concrete is installed and completely stabilized to new or existing substrates (concrete, tile, wood, metal, etc.) with Classic Turf Stabilizer.
  • Diamond Concrete protects outdoor and indoor substrates from water, moisture, chemicals and other environmental contaminants.
  • Indoor finished floorings (tile, marble, hardwood, etc.) can be installed to the subsurface with Classic Turf Waterproof Membrane.

HOW TOUGH IS DIAMOND CONCRETE?

The Diamond Concrete wearing course develops a tensile strength of 2900 psi and a hardness approaching that diamond (Mohs hardness of 8.2). Repeatedly turning the wheels of a stationary vehicle full cycle left and right for an extended time will only remove rubber from the tires. It will have no effect on the Diamond Concrete surface!

PARKING GARAGE DECKS:

The concrete deck slabs contract and expand with changes in temperature, and they experience significant flexing due to the constant changes in the weight of vehicular loads. The conditions result in leaks, allowing water, salt and other chemicals to deteriorate the concrete and the steel reinforcements under the deck. Before Diamond Concrete, available sealing systems were either not elastic enough to expand and contract with the concrete, or not tough enough to hold up to vehicular traffic, resulting in the return of leaks in just a few years.

ROOF DECKS:

Diamond Concrete is the ultimate solution for rooftop maintenance problems, especially if the roof deck is used for recreational, athletic and other pedestrian use. The system will completely waterproof the roof deck, but also it will allow building water vapor and other gases to escape, without retaining moisture in the surface. Because the Classic Elastic Bonding System incorporates a resilient rubber matrix, which can be varied in depth and density, it becomes the ultimate rooftop base for various athletic and recreational purposes, including tennis courts, running/jogging tracks, basketball courts, handball, play areas and more.

BASEMENT AND OTHER FLOORING USE:

Moisture and water vapor are a serious concern with below-grade flooring applications. Diamond Concrete is perfect for these difficult conditions. It will protect both the substrate and the finish course from cracking, swelling, delamination and subsurface movement. Classic Turf Co. manufactures finished surfaces in both roll and tile form. Standard floorings-such as hardwood, ceramic tiles, brick pavers, slate, etc.-can be adhered to the resilient Classic Elastic Bonding System.

RESILIENT FLOORING USES:

Because Diamond Concrete is a resilient surface, it's and excellent system for applications where a combination of shock absorption and extreme durability are required. Uses include locker rooms, aerobic studios, manufactured areas, weight rooms, and high-traffic corridors. The surface provides the added benefit of deadening sound, as well as providing a warmer, more comfortable feel.
