Post Tension Concrete Tennis Courts and New Year’s Resolutions

The New Year is here, 2016, and all of us at Classic Turf are very excited to see what the New Year will bring. The sky is the limit for what we want to do and we hope to continue to be recognized for our post tension concrete technology. It is an exciting time for us with all the courts we have planned for the coming months and we can’t wait to get started on them. Whether tennis courts, basketball courts, or running tracks, we do it all and with our years of experience, these courts are guaranteed to be the highest quality sports surface on the market.

Excitement aside, our courts will improve your health and make your life slightly better. Since it is January, we want to make a connection between our courts and New Year’s resolutions. Most of us make New Year’s resolution with the goal in mind to improve ourselves, not to mention the world around us. This might include losing weight or getting in shape. One way to make this a reality is playing tennis or basketball and if you want to make the world a better place, schools everywhere in the country should invest in high quality courts courtesy of Classic Turf. It is one of the easiest ways to get exercise and fresh air. After all, more and more of America’s youth are clinically obese and that will extend into adulthood. Best to stop the unhealthy momentum while there’s still a chance.

In this blog post from Oct. 24 entitled, “Why Your School Should Invest in Tennis Courts,” we write, “One sport which almost any young person can play for fun (or competitively) is tennis. Schools with outdoor tennis courts are fortunate because the courts can be used for much of the year, allowing both boys and girls to get aerobic exercise, fresh air, and develop some athletic skill they can use years later. Many retirees enjoy a weekly game of tennis thanks to the skills they learned on the courts of their high school.”

What our courts provide is the foundation for a healthy life and what place to get started on that foundation than in schools? By building a regime of aerobic exercise, fresh air, and athletic skill, young people will be able to learn what it will take to be a fully developed and healthy adult. It is something we take pride in at Classic Turf so let our courts and us be a part of your New Year’s resolutions.
